Khulna, Oct 11 (V7N)- Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan visited Gallamari Harichand Tagore Temple and Bagmara Govind Temple in Khulna today (Friday) evening.
 
 During the visit to the pujamandap and temple, the adviser said that various parties have used religion for political gain in the past.  The present interim government will not allow the Sanatan religionists to become a political tool of anyone.
 
 He also said that people of all religions will live in a harmonious environment in the freedom that has been gained by the blood of the students.  Referring to the untoward incidents that took place at a poojam-pe cultural event in Chittagong yesterday and the theft of gold crowns from Jashoreshri temple in Satkhira, the advisor said that the administration has already arrested the culprits and they will be brought to justice and punished.
 
 When journalists drew attention to organizing various tournaments including BPL by renovating Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Gallamari Harichand Temple, Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud said that not only Abu Naser Stadium, but all stadiums in the country will be made suitable for playing and the sports environment will be brought back.
 
 Meanwhile, Khulna Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Saiful Islam, Superintendent of Police T, M, Mosharraf Hossain, Deputy Police Commissioner of Metropolitan Police Md. Moniruzzaman, Deputy Chief Information Officer of Khulna Regional Information Office.  Javed Iqbal, senior journalist Sheikh Didarul Alam, general secretary of Mahanagar Puja Celebration Committee Prashant Kumar Mundu, administration officials and leaders of temple committee were present.
 
 Incidentally, Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmood Sajib Bhuiyan visited two Pujam-Ps in Khulna on his way to Satkhira.  Tomorrow, Saturday, he will visit the Pujam-P of some upazilas of Satkhira and exchange views.
