Pabna June 08 (V7N): A cricket tournament held in memory of martyred freedom fighters concluded today (Sunday, June 8) in Pabna's Santhia Upazila.
The final match took place this afternoon at the Dhopadah Nariagdai High School ground in Santhia Upazila.
Salequzzaman Khan, TI (Administration) of Bogra District Traffic Police, inaugurated the game.
The event, organized by Unity Social Society and courteously supported by Shaheed Abdur Razzak Foundation Santhia, featured BNP National Executive Committee member Salauddin Khan PPM as the chief guest.
Also in attendance were Haji Yunus Ali, former vice-president of the Tanti Dal central committee, Masudul Haque Masud, member of the Jubo Dal central executive committee, and numerous other dignitaries.
In the championship match, Bhulbaria Abdul Gafur Smriti Sangha emerged victorious, defeating Bhangura Super Joint. A total of 16 teams competed in the tournament.
