Jhalokathi, Oct 27 (V7N) — The 47th founding anniversary of the Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal, the youth wing of the BNP, was celebrated in Jhalokathi on Monday with colorful rallies and discussion programs attended by party leaders and activists.
The day’s events began in the morning with a vibrant procession that started in front of the Jhalokathi Press Club. The rally paraded through the main streets of the town before returning to its starting point, drawing large participation from enthusiastic party supporters carrying banners, placards, and the BNP’s signature paddy-sheaf symbol.
Following the rally, a discussion meeting was held with the district Jubo Dal’s Acting Convener Rabiul Hossain Tuhin in the chair. Among others, Deputy Attorney General Zahirul Haque Sumon, UK BNP leader Mohammad Hossain Babul, District Jubo Dal Member Secretary Advocate Anisur Rahman Khan, and Joint Convener Enamul Haque Saju delivered speeches.
Speakers at the meeting emphasized that a “mass upsurge” in support of the BNP’s election symbol, the paddy sheaf, has been spreading across the country. They urged Jubo Dal leaders and activists to remain united and work together to sustain this growing wave of public support for restoring democracy and national dignity.
Local political observers noted that the anniversary celebration reflected renewed organizational activities within the BNP’s youth front, as the party continues to prepare for the upcoming national political movements.
