Mongla, Oct 28 (V7N) – The 47th founding anniversary of the Jubo Dal, the youth wing of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), was celebrated in Mongla on Monday with colorful rallies and discussions reflecting the organization’s long tradition of activism and commitment.

The event, organized by the Mongla Municipal Jubo Dal, began with a vibrant procession that started from the Shramik Sangha premises and paraded through the main streets of the municipal town, drawing enthusiastic participation from local leaders and supporters.

A discussion meeting followed, chaired by Iman Hossain Ripon, Senior Joint Convener of Mongla Municipal Jubo Dal. The chief guest at the event was former General Secretary of Bagerhat District Jubo Dal, Md. Sujauddin Molla Sujan.

In his address, Sujan highlighted the party’s resilience, saying, “For the past 17 years, the BNP and its affiliated organizations could hardly hold public programs. Yet, Jubo Dal remained at the forefront of the anti-government movement against Prime Minister Hasina’s regime. Our only goal now is to ensure victory for BNP-nominated candidates through fair, transparent voting in the upcoming national elections.”

He added that the Jubo Dal aims to strengthen unity and act as the vanguard for BNP in every polling center of the Mongla Municipality. “We want to send a clear message — whoever receives the BNP nomination, we will work together with full unity to secure victory for the candidate of the ‘Sheaf of Paddy,’” he said.

Other speakers at the event included former Joint Convener of Mongla Municipal BNP Md. Khorshed Alam, Municipal Jubo Dal Member Secretary M.A. Kashem, former Bagerhat District Jubo Dal member Md. Alauddin, and local Jubo Dal leaders Ratan Mahmud, Khalid Mahmud Sohag, B.M. Wasim Arman, Masum Bhuiyan, Suman Mallik, and Md. Bapparaj.

The anniversary celebration concluded with loud cheers, party slogans, and renewed pledges of unity and organizational strength as the rally circled the main thoroughfares of Mongla town, symbolizing Jubo Dal’s continued commitment to grassroots mobilization ahead of the next general election.
