Cox's Bazar , Mar 13 (V7N) - Cox's Bazar District BNP has organized Iftar for more than 2,000 people by spreading tarpaulins on the ground in an open field. While everyone is organizing Iftar in a luxurious hotel in a bright and airy environment, the District BNP has brought the event to the people. In this event, along with the leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliated organizations, thousands of ordinary people participated. They were accompanied by leaders of various political parties, journalists and people from various professions.

The Iftar and Doa Mahfil was organized at the Bir Muktijoddha Field (Gol Chattar) in Cox's Bazar town on Friday (March 13) afternoon. The event was organized to seek the forgiveness of the country's leader and former BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

BNP Central Fishermen Affairs Secretary and Cox's Bazar-03 (Sadar-Ramu-Eidgaon) MP Lutfur Rahman Kajal was the chief guest at the event. Cox's Bazar District BNP President and Cox's Bazar-04 (Ukhia-Teknaf) MP Shahjahan Chowdhury presided over the event.

In his speech as the chief guest, Lutfur Rahman Kajal MP said, "We want to create a political environment in Cox's Bazar where there will be no revenge, no hatred towards anyone. Together, we will build Cox's Bazar."

He told BNP leaders and activists, "You should not do any activities that will cause suffering to the common people. Your work should not create hatred in the minds of people. People should not misunderstand BNP."

He called on leaders and activists of all political parties to work together for the development of the country and Cox's Bazar.

District BNP Senior Vice President ATM Nurul Bashar Chowdhury, District BNP General Secretary Advocate Shamim Ara Swapna, District Jamaat Secretary Jahedul Islam, NCP District Member Secretary Professor Omar Faruk and Nezame Islam Party Acting District General Secretary Maulana Nurul Haque Chakori, Cox's Bazar Municipal BNP Convener Rafiqul Huda Chowdhury, among others, also spoke.

The prayer was led by Maulana Ali Hasan Chowdhury, district president of the Nationalist Ulama Party. The program was moderated by District BNP Publicity Secretary Principal Akhtar Chowdhury and Co-Organizing Secretary M Moktar Ahmed. District BNP Office Secretary Yusuf Badri said that this Iftar mahfil has been organized for the common people on the instructions of the BNP high command.
