Khagrachari, Feb 21 (V7N) – The Annual Inter-House Sports Competition Award Ceremony was held at Khagrachari Police Lines High School. The event took place on February 20, where the school's headmaster, Uttam Kumar Nath, welcomed the attendees.

The ceremony was attended by the Chief Guest, Khagrachari District Commissioner ABM Iftikharul Islam Khandker. During his speech, he highlighted the importance of extracurricular activities, emphasizing that students should not only focus on academics but also engage in sports. He encouraged teachers and guardians to guide the students in maintaining a balance between studies and sports. He also called for a drug and violence-free society through education.

The chief guest assured support for the expansion of the academic building of the school.

Khagrachari Police Superintendent and Executive Committee Chairman of the school, Arefin Jewel, presided over the ceremony. Among others, Acting District Education Officer Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Press Club President Tarun Bhattacharya, and General Secretary HM Proful were present.

Later, students participated in various events, and the winners received awards from the Chief Guest and other dignitaries.
