Jagannath University (JnU) will remain closed for a total of 23 consecutive days due to the summer break and the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha holidays.

The information was confirmed in a notice issued on Tuesday, signed by the university’s acting registrar, Professor Dr Md Sheikh Giash Uddin.

Including two weekends (Fridays and Saturdays) at both the beginning and end of the period, students will effectively receive a 23-day break.

The notice also stated that all institutes, departments, and administrative offices of the university will remain closed from June 4 to June 12.

However, essential services such as electricity, water, gas, telephone, internet, security, and cleaning will remain operational during the holiday period.
