Jhalokathi, July 23 (V7N) - In the wake of the tragic plane crash at Milestone School and College in Uttara, Dhaka, a solemn prayer and remembrance ceremony was held on Tuesday morning at Rajapur Model Government Primary School in Rajapur, Jhalokathi. The ceremony was organized to pray for the souls of those who lost their lives and for the speedy recovery of the injured.
 
The event was attended by teachers, students, and guardians, who gathered to express their collective grief and solidarity. Assistant teacher Md. Rafiqul Islam led the special prayer (munajat), invoking peace for the departed souls and healing for the injured victims of the tragedy.
 
Participants expressed their deep sorrow and urged that such tragic incidents must never occur again. “May Allah keep all of us safe,” many were heard saying through tears. Both students and parents were visibly emotional during the prayer, with several guardians breaking down in tears as they remembered the young lives lost.
 
They also expressed heartfelt sympathy for the bereaved families and called on the government to provide necessary support and compensation to those affected.
 
It is to be noted that multiple students and parents from Milestone School and College died in the aircraft crash, which has cast a shadow of mourning across the nation. The tragedy has prompted similar condolence events in different parts of the country, reflecting the collective grief of the people.
