Dhaka, Nov 23 (V7N) – All examinations scheduled for Sunday at the capital’s Viqarunnisa Noon School and College have been suspended. The announcement came through an official notice signed by Acting Principal Majeda Begum at around 12:45 am early Saturday night.

According to the notice, the annual examinations for students of Classes 1 to 9 have been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances. The institution requested students, teachers and guardians to take note of the updated schedule, which will be announced later.

The notice further stated that academic activities for the college section—Classes 11 and 12—will continue as usual. Authorities have urged all concerned to take necessary measures in line with the updated instructions.

The sudden suspension has created concern among guardians, many of whom were preparing students for the ongoing annual examinations. School officials said updates regarding the rescheduled exam dates would be provided in due course.
