Dhaka, Feb 28 (V7N) – A meeting of the National Moon-Sighting Committee will be held on Saturday to review the moon sighting that will mark the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at 6pm in the conference room of the Islamic Foundation's Baitul Mukarram office in the capital.
Religious Affairs Adviser Dr AFM Khalid Hossain will preside over the meeting.
If the moon for the holy month of Ramadan is sighted anywhere in the sky of Bangladesh, people are requested to inform the committee by calling the following numbers: 02-223381725, 02-41050912, 02-41050916 and 02-41050917.
Additionally, they may send information via fax to 02-223383397 and 02-9555951.
