DHAKA, Feb 21, (V7N) - Chief of Naval Staff Admiral M Nazmul Hassan and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan today paid separate courtesy calls on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at the Prime Minister’s Office in Tejgaon.

Both service chiefs met the premier in the afternoon, marking their first formal engagements with him since the new government assumed office. The meetings reflected the armed forces’ commitment to working in close coordination with the civilian leadership to ensure national security, modernization, and efficiency in defense operations.

Discussions reportedly centered on strengthening institutional cooperation, enhancing operational readiness, and aligning defense priorities with the government’s broader vision of national development.
