Dhaka, Oct 6 (V7N) – BNP acting secretary general Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Fazlul Haque Nayan, present president of Moktarpara Union BNP and former vice-president of Gazipur's Kaliganj Thana BNP.
Fazlul Haque passed away this noon while undergoing treatment at Uttara Crescent Hospital in the capital.
In a condolence message, Rizvi said the deceased BNP leader, Nayan, who had deep faith in the principles and ideals of former President Shaheed Ziaur Rahman, Bir Uttam, and in the philosophy of Bangladeshi nationalism, played a strong role in making Kaliganj Thana and Moktarpara Union BNP strong and dynamic. Under the leadership of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister 'Mother of Democracy' late Begum Khaleda Zia, he actively participated in every movement and struggle for establishing the democratic rights of the people, he added.
The acting secretary general of BNP prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul of deceased Fazlul Haque Nayan and conveyed deepest condolences to his bereaved family, admirers and well-wishers.
