Dhaka, Sep 25 (V7N) – BNP Acting Chairman Deshnayok Tarique Rahman extended his condolences to the family of Lieutenant Tanjim Sarwar Nirjon, who was tragically killed during a joint operation in Chakaria upazila, Cox's Bazar, after being attacked by robbers early Tuesday.

On Wednesday, a seven-member delegation of retired army officers, led by Major General (retd) Fazle Elahi Akbar, visited Lt Tanjim’s family home in Korer Betka village, Karatia union, Tangail sadar upazila, around 11:45 AM to convey Tarique Rahman’s heartfelt sympathies.

The delegation spent time with Lt Tanjim’s family, including his parents and sister, offering their condolences. They also paid tribute to the memory of the late army officer by placing wreaths at his grave and offering prayers for his eternal peace.
