DHAKA, Feb 19, (V7N) - Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman today attended an Iftar Mahfil organized in honor of orphans in his Dhaka-15 parliamentary constituency.

He added that efforts would continue to ensure people’s rights through cooperation between government and opposition. “We hope the government will do the work that pleases Allah,” he noted.

The programme was chaired by Md Selim Uddin, Ameer of Jamaat’s Dhaka Metropolitan North unit, while Assistant Secretary General Dr Fakhruddin Manik conducted the event.
