Dhaka, Apr 02 (V7N) - Lionel Messi’s bodyguard, Yassine Cheuko, has revealed that he is no longer allowed to protect the Argentine star from the touchline during Inter Miami matches. Cheuko, who gained fame for his vigilant crowd control, was often seen stopping pitch invaders from reaching the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner.
Speaking to Spanish media, Cheuko expressed concerns over security issues in the United States, stating, "In seven years in Europe, only six people invaded the pitch. In the USA, 16 people have done so in just 20 months. There's a huge problem here. Let me help Messi."
However, Major League Soccer (MLS) clarified that its security protocols remain unchanged and that teams already have designated security guards near the benches. Despite this, concerns over Messi’s safety continue to grow amid frequent pitch invasions.
