In a statement posted on its verified Facebook page, DMTCL confirmed that the metro rail will not operate on Eid day but will run as usual from the following day.

Earlier, DMTCL had adjusted the metro schedule for the month of Ramadan, which included:

  • From Uttara North:

    • First train: 7:10 AM

    • Last train: 9:00 PM

    • Frequency: Every 10 minutes (7:10 AM – 7:30 PM), every 8 minutes (7:30 AM – 6:50 PM)

  • From Motijheel:

    • Last train: 9:40 PM
