She later became widely known for her classical music performances on social media platforms.

After her victory, Maithili told ANI, “It’s like a dream for me. As a girl from my area, I want to be with the people. Now, I am only thinking about the development of Alinagar.”

Her election affidavit reveals substantial assets at a young age, including a bank balance exceeding one crore rupees, jewellery worth around 50 lakh rupees, a flat valued at 3 crore rupees, and ownership of half a land property worth approximately 90 lakh rupees.
