New York, Oct 26, (V7N) – It’s been an eventful week for Simone Biles as she takes a brief hiatus from her Gold Over America Tour.

The Olympic champion unveiled a partnership with Barefoot wine and was honored as the world’s most marketable athlete of the year by SportsPro. Biles attended the Los Angeles premiere of her Netflix docuseries, "Simone Biles: Rising," which documents her journey back to competition and preparation for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

On Thursday, she made headlines by donating $50,000 at a gala for Friends of Children, a nonprofit supporting kids facing adversity. Reflecting on her own experiences in foster care, Biles emphasized the importance of mentorship: “I can see myself in these kids... having someone like me advocate for them really inspires them.”

In an interview, Biles discussed her philanthropic efforts and the lighter moments she shares with children in foster care. “They want to know silly things, but the older ones are more curious about my passions,” she shared.

As for her docuseries, Biles expressed that the release didn’t add pressure: “I had already done all the work mentally that I was OK with the timing.” The series has proven beneficial beyond her own story, potentially aiding teammate Jordan Chiles in retaining her Olympic bronze medal due to footage that may support Chiles' appeal regarding a scoring inquiry.

Looking to the future, Biles is excited to focus on her interests and support her husband, Jonathan Owens, a safety for the Chicago Bears. While she hasn't confirmed her plans for the 2028 Summer Olympics, she noted the intriguing prospect of her husband competing in flag football for Team USA.

Closing: Biles continues to inspire through her advocacy and achievements, proving that resilience and dedication extend far beyond the gym.
