Kolkata, Feb 21 (V7N) – Former Indian cricket captain and ex-BCCI president Sourav Ganguly was involved in a road accident on Thursday (February 21) while traveling on the Durgapur Expressway in Hooghly, West Bengal. However, reports confirm that he escaped without any major injuries.
According to the Times of India, the accident took place near Dadpur, Hooghly, as Ganguly was on his way to a university function in Burdwan, where he was also scheduled to attend a Burdwan Sports Association event.
Despite the incident, Ganguly proceeded with his scheduled programs without disruption. Speaking at the event in Burdwan, he expressed his enthusiasm:
"I am excited to be here. I am very happy that I was invited."
Ganguly’s Legacy in Indian Cricket
