Sylhet Strikers clinched their second triumph in the ongoing season of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) by defeating Durdanto Dhaka on Wednesday.

Opting to bat first, Dhaka managed to post a total of 124 for eight in their allotted 20 overs. Saif Hassan emerged as their top scorer with 41 runs off 32 balls, complemented by Mohammad Naim, who contributed 36 runs.

Rejaur Rahman Raja of Sylhet made a significant impact by taking three vital wickets. Sylhet faltered in their pursuit, scoring 74 runs at a cost of five wickets. But a certain defeat was avoided when Ryan Burl and Benny Howell forged an important 55-run alliance that lifted their team to victory.

For Dhaka, Shoriful Islam claimed three wickets, but it was not enough to save the loss. While Dhaka suffered its sixth straight loss, Sylhet rejoiced in their second victory.
