Swiss-Italian agritech startup xFarm Technologies has announced its integration of Greenfield Technologies and SpaceSense, aiming to become a leader in regenerative agriculture and geospatial AI.

Greenfield Technologies specializes in soil characterization for crop management optimization, enhancing sustainability and resilience. On the other hand, SpaceSense, based in Paris, provides climate intelligence services using satellite data and AI, enabling large-scale sustainability analysis and actions such as carbon monitoring.

This merger enables xFarm Technologies to expand internationally, leveraging its presence in the Iberian Peninsula, France, Germany, and Poland. The expertise of new specialized teams will support this expansion.

Miguel Córdoba, CEO of Greenfield Technologies, expressed excitement about joining forces with xFarm Technologies, emphasizing their shared vision of empowering the agri-food sector for sustainability and competitiveness. He highlighted the enhancement of solutions like soil characterization and support for Mediterranean crops.

Jyotsna Budideti, CEO of SpaceSense, highlighted the aim to empower farmers worldwide by combining geospatial AI with xFarm Technologies' Agtech excellence. Together, they seek to accelerate sustainable agriculture, from assessing soil carbon levels to implementing strategies to combat emissions globally.
