The first crewed launch of Boeing's Starliner spaceship was delayed just two hours before takeoff due to the identification of a new safety issue, officials announced Monday.

"Standing down on tonight's attempt to launch Starliner," stated NASA Administrator Bill Nelson. "As I've said before, NASA's first priority is safety. We go when we're ready."
