The Palestinian National Authority or PA has taken a positive stance on the alliance with the Hamas government in the midst of ongoing Israeli massacres and various political complications in the besieged Gaza Strip. These two parties and other Palestinian political parties are meeting in Moscow in February.

Al Jazeera, the Qatar-based media reported this news on Sunday about the Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority, Muhammad Shatayeh.

Muhammad Shatayeh said that Russia has invited all parties in Palestine for a meeting. The meeting will be held in Moscow on February 26. We will see if Hamas is ready to take the field with us.

He also said, we are ready to ally with Hamas. But if Hamas does not want to unite, that will be a different story.

In the current situation, we need Palestinian unity, he said, but in order to form an alliance, Hamas must fulfill certain preconditions.

However, Hamas authorities have not yet said anything about this. However, those concerned say that the relationship between Hamas and Putin's government is good, so it is assumed that a positive announcement will come from Hamas.

The Palestinian National Authority, or PA or PNA, is a Fatah-controlled Palestinian government entity that controls parts of the West Bank. The organization was formed as a result of the 1993–1995 Oslo Accords. It is also officially known as the State of Palestine.

The Palestinian Authority controlled the Gaza Strip before the 2006 Palestinian elections, and lost control of Gaza to Hamas in the subsequent conflict between Fatah and Hamas.
