Major cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Fujian, Zhejiang, and Tianjin have transformed into festival hubs, with streets adorned in dazzling lights and decorations. Traditional lion dances, dragon dances, and snake dances are entertaining both locals and international tourists. The festival spirit has extended beyond China, with celebrations observed in cities like Dubai, Johannesburg, and San Francisco. Even the Chinese space station is participating in the joyous occasion.

A Chinese citizen visiting the Fuzhou Lantern Festival shared their excitement: “This is my first time here. The events are so lively, and I am thrilled to be part of this festival with my family.”

In Hubei Province, a spectacular fireworks display on bamboo rafts has drawn thousands of visitors, while Zhejiang's West Lake has hosted an exceptional cultural procession. Shanghai’s Weiyuan Garden and Jiangsu’s Water Town have added to the festival's grandeur with gourmet delicacies, traditional performances, and mesmerizing light shows.

International tourists have also flocked to China to experience the celebrations firsthand. A tourist from Kazakhstan expressed delight: “The streets of China are now decorated with colorful lights, creating a truly magical atmosphere.”
