At least 34,356 individuals have died in the Gaza Strip during the more than six months of fighting between Israeli forces and Palestinian militants, according to the health ministry in the Hamas-run region.

According to a ministry statement, the count includes at least 51 dead in the last 24 hours. It also stated that 77,368 people have been injured in the Gaza Strip since the conflict started on October 7, when Hamas terrorists attacked Israel.
