Firefighters have extinguished a fire at an Indonesian oil refinery in East Kalimantan province on Saturday, with no casualties reported, an official confirmed.
 
The fire broke out around 04:00 a.m. local time at crude distillation unit IV of the Balikpapan refinery, operated by the Indonesian state-owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina. Bayu Arafat, the general manager of Pertamina International Refinery for the Balikpapan unit, provided the details.
 
The fire was extinguished by 07:30 a.m. local time, Arafat stated. "Firefighters have successfully controlled the situation, and we are now in the cooling phase," he said in a statement.
 
The incident did not disrupt the oil supply to consumers, according to the official.
