Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz has expressed confidence in winning Pakistan's general election despite trailing behind in recent results. He said that their party chief Nawaz Sharif is preparing to deliver his victory speech. Nawaz Sharif's daughter dismissed the allegations of the parties as false. 

Nawaz Sharif fought from two seats in the election but lost one to an independent candidate. He got a big win in Lahore seat. On the other hand, Nawaz Sharif's daughter Maryam Nawaz won another seat in Lahore. He defeated independent candidate Shehzad Farooqui in this seat.

The Election Commission of the country has announced the results of 171 out of 266 seats in the National Assembly of Pakistan. The latest declared results show that independent candidates supported by Imran Khan's party PTI are ahead of others. On the other hand, Nawaz Sharif's party is quite a bit behind.

According to Pakistani media GOTV, out of 200 seats obtained so far, independent candidates supported by PTI have won 86 seats. Nawaz Sharif's PML-N won 59 seats, Bilawal Bhutto's Pakistan People's Party-PPP won 44 seats.

Despite such a situation, Maryam Nawaz claimed that her party won as the single largest party from the Center and Punjab. Now just waiting for the official results. In a post on social media X, he said, last night a section of the media spread deliberate falsehoods.
