Independent candidates supported by Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party are ahead with 96 seats in the preliminary results of 244 out of 265 seats in Pakistan's general election.

On the other hand, Nawaz Sharif's Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) won 70 seats and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari's Pakistan People's Party (PPP) won 53 seats.
