Independent candidates supported by Imran's party PTI are ahead till the latest news in Pakistan polls. Nawaz's party PML-N is in the second position. However, Nawaz Sharif is pushing to form the government as PTI did not participate in the election.
Of the 245 seats declared, PTI supporters won 99, PML-N 69, PPP 52 and others 25 seats. 133 seats are required to form a government in Pakistan. Polling was held in 265 seats in the 336-seat Pakistan Parliament on Thursday. Election in one seat is postponed.
On Friday, the United States, the United Kingdom and the EU simultaneously expressed concern over the integrity of the election.
