Arif & Brothers Agro Farm's owner, Arifur Rahman, found success at Ramu, Cox's Bazar, by growing a type of strawberries.

Planting 2500 American Festible species seedlings at a mere cost of 2 lakh rupees three months ago marked the beginning of strawberry production in the Ramur Jowarianala union of Cox's Bazar.

People in Cox's Bazar find it difficult to sample strawberries because of their great demand and high price in the market, and dealers have difficulties as well because the general public cannot afford to purchase the imported fruits. The proprietor of Arif & Brothers Agro Farm, Arifur Rahman, stated that he considered each of these factors when managing the cultivation of strawberries.

According to Arif, Cox's Bazar's soil is ideal for growing this particular type of American fast-fertile strawberry since it is disease-free and yields quickly.

Conversely, he said that Cox's Bazar could almost eradicate unemployment if young entrepreneurs were inspired to grow these fruits.

Arifur Rahman thinks that he planted 2500 seedlings in an experiment and had a high harvest, despite only having spent 2 lakh rupees on 1 bigha of land. Next year, he plans to cultivate this American fast-growing strawberry variety in 5 bigha land, since he anticipates making twice as much profit from this harvest as he did from its purchase.
