New York, Sep 25 (V7N)- Muhammad Yunus, the Chief Advisor of Bangladesh’s interim government, met with Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on the sidelines of an event at the United Nations headquarters on Tuesday. The two leaders were seen shaking hands and discussing mutual matters during their brief interaction.

Earlier in the day, Yunus also held a meeting with US President Joe Biden. During their conversation, President Biden expressed full support for the Bangladeshi government, reinforcing the strong relationship between the two nations.

In addition, Yunus had meetings with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and several other heads of government, as well as leaders from various organisations. During his conversation with Trudeau, the two discussed strengthening Bangladesh-Canada relations and building key Bangladeshi institutions.

These high-profile meetings reflect Bangladesh's active role on the global stage as it navigates a crucial period under its interim government.
