Dhaka, Dec 09 (V7N)- The Public Service Commission (PSC) has suspended the online application process for the 47th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination hours before it was scheduled to begin. The announcement was made by PSC Public Relations Officer SM Matiur Rahman on Monday afternoon.

The notification for the 47th BCS, published on November 28, outlined plans to recruit 3,487 individuals, including 201 for cadre and non-cadre positions. The application process was slated to commence on Tuesday, December 10, at 10:00 AM, with a submission deadline of December 31 at 11:59 PM.

However, the sudden suspension has left many aspirants in uncertainty. The PSC has not disclosed the reasons behind this decision, leaving applicants waiting for further clarification.

The 47th BCS was expected to draw significant interest from candidates across the country, making the abrupt halt a noteworthy development. Candidates are advised to stay updated through official channels for any future announcements regarding the application process.
