Dhaka, Dec 26 (V7N) — The Ministry of Public Administration has announced another extension for government employees to submit their asset declarations. The new deadline is now February 15, 2025, according to a notification issued on Thursday.

Initially, the deadline for submitting the declarations in sealed envelopes was set for November 30, 2024. However, it was first extended to December 31 and now further to mid-February.

This requirement follows the new government's decision to make asset declarations mandatory for the country's 1.5 million government employees. The extension aims to ensure that all employees have sufficient time to comply with the directive.

Authorities have reiterated the importance of this initiative in promoting transparency and accountability within the public administration.
