Chief of Army Staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed departed today for Qatar to attend the Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2024).

According to a press release from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Army Chief will participate in the international event scheduled to take place from March 4 to 5.

During his visit, General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed will engage in meetings with chiefs of various countries, including Qatar, to discuss matters of mutual interest and cooperation.

The Chief of Army Staff is expected to return to Bangladesh on March 6, concluding his visit to Qatar.
