Manikganj, Mar 28 (V7N) – With the Eid-ul-Fitr holiday rush in full swing, the Paturia ferry terminal in Manikganj has seen a significant increase in passenger and vehicle movement. However, travelers remain relieved as ferry and launch services continue without major disruptions.

Since Friday morning, a large number of people and vehicles have been making their way to 21 districts in southwestern Bangladesh.

Passenger numbers on launches have been increasing steadily throughout the day.

Seventeen ferries are operating efficiently, ensuring that vehicles cross the river without long delays.

Despite the high passenger turnout, there has been no significant congestion or suffering at the terminal.

Unlike previous years, where travelers faced long waiting times and overcrowding, this year’s Eid journey has been smoother. Those heading home expressed their satisfaction with the well-managed ferry and launch services.

Authorities are expected to maintain strict traffic control measures to ensure that passengers continue to travel comfortably as the Eid rush intensifies in the coming days.
