How Expatriates Can Register for Postal Voting
To vote through postal ballot, an expatriate voter must register using the mobile phone number of the country they are currently residing in. Voters must download and install the ‘Postal Vote BD’ mobile app from the Google Play Store or App Store.
The app allows users to select either Bangla or English, view required documents, and follow step-by-step instructions for registration. EC officials emphasized that expatriates must provide an accurate overseas mailing address to ensure they receive their ballot papers without delays.
