Dhaka, Dec 04 (V7N) – The interim government has urged the nation to offer special prayers in all mosques after Friday prayers for the speedy recovery of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.
The request was made in a press release issued by the Chief Advisor’s Press Wing on Thursday morning.
According to the notice, prayers have also been called for in temples, churches, pagodas, and other places of worship across the country, following the respective religious customs. Citizens from all walks of life have been encouraged to pray for Khaleda Zia’s recovery from their own positions.
This comes a day after Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus visited Evercare Hospital on Wednesday evening to inquire about the former Prime Minister’s health condition.
Khaleda Zia has been undergoing treatment at the hospital since November 23, and her physical condition remains critical.
