Dhaka, Jan 6 (V7N) – Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) Chairman Professor Mobasher Monem announced that the entire recruitment process for a BCS examination will now be completed within a year, eliminating delays and congestion in the exam system.
He made the remarks on Tuesday afternoon during the Public Administration Day program at Dhaka University, organized annually by the university’s Department of Public Administration to raise students’ awareness about career opportunities.
Professor Monem said that the PSC has introduced the principle of “One BCS, One Year”, ensuring that the entire process—from the publication of the job notification to the announcement of the final results—will be completed within 12 months.
He also noted that measures have been taken to prevent allegations of question leaks, stating that there is currently no opportunity for such malpractice.
It was also confirmed that a total of 290,951 candidates have applied for the 50th BCS exam, making it the largest government recruitment process in the country.
