Former inspector general of police (IGP) Benazir Ahmed did not appear before the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Sunday despite being granted additional time. Benazir is facing allegations of acquiring wealth through undisclosed means and failed to attend the scheduled interrogation.

ACC Chairman Moinuddin Abdullah stated that further absence would imply that Benazir has no statement to provide. The ACC has previously issued court orders to seize numerous assets linked to Benazir and his family.
