Dhaka, 21 Aug (V7N)- The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecasted light to moderate rain or thundershowers, with possible temporary gusty winds across all eight divisions of the country in the next 24 hours, starting from 9 am today. According to the weather bulletin, these conditions are expected to occur in most places over Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Chattogram, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions, with moderately heavy to very heavy rainfall anticipated in some areas.

The department also noted that both day and night temperatures are likely to remain nearly unchanged across the country. The highest temperature recorded on Tuesday was 34.0 degrees Celsius in Jashore, while the lowest was 24.5 degrees Celsius in Tangail earlier today.

Chattogram experienced significant rainfall, with 113 mm recorded in the last 24 hours until 6 am. The sun is expected to set at 6:27 pm today and rise at 5:36 am tomorrow in Dhaka.
