Dhaka, August 25 — Finance and Trade Advisor Saleh Uddin Ahmed has stated that discussions will soon take place to decide whether there will be an opportunity to whiten black money under the current budget. However, he emphasized that the government will take measures to prevent the creation of black money.

Ahmed made these remarks after a meeting with United Nations representatives from the Department of Economic Relations at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in Dhaka on Sunday afternoon. 

During the meeting, discussions focused on investment in projects that promote sustainable human development. The finance advisor, Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed, urged development partners to increase investment in projects that promote equality. The partners also advised the government to prepare in advance to address the ongoing flood situation and provided guidance on Aman rice cultivation.

When questioned by journalists, Saleh Uddin Ahmed clarified that moving forward, loans will be scrutinized more carefully before being granted. Addressing the ongoing agitation in various government offices, he noted that previously, there had been no opportunity to address grievances related to discrimination. "The government is now allowing these voices to be heard, and all forms of discrimination will be gradually eliminated," he assured. Additionally, he reiterated the government's commitment to preventing the generation of black money.
