On Thursday March 15th, Ambassador of Japan to Bangladesh Iwama Kiminori emphasized the importance of the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) and the Public Private Economic Dialogues (PPED) between Japan and Bangladesh as crucial instruments to advance the business environment in the coming years.

Addressing attendees as the chief guest at the inauguration of HmAC's new office on Wednesday, Ambassador Iwama highlighted the necessity of ongoing dialogues between the two governments to enhance the business climate.

During the event, he also unveiled the "Taxation Handbook for Investors in Bangladesh," a publication prepared by Howlader Maria & Co.

Ambassador Iwama underscored Japan's recognition of Bangladesh's significant role in shaping the business landscape, emphasizing the country's development as paramount.

He noted that an increasing number of companies are turning their attention to Bangladesh, with organizations like the Japan Bangladesh Chambers & Commerce of Industry (JBCCI) and JETRO Bangladesh providing valuable guidance to navigate the complexities of the market.

The press release emphasized the collaborative efforts between the Japanese Business Circle and the Embassy of Japan to offer comprehensive support structures for companies entering the Bangladeshi market.
