Dhaka, Nov 12 (V7N) — Two crude bombs were hurled at a preparatory school on Iqbal Road in Mohammadpur, Dhaka, around midnight on Tuesday (November 11). Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.

According to witnesses, four unidentified individuals riding on two motorcycles approached the school premises and threw two bombs in quick succession before speeding away.

CCTV footage obtained from the area shows the suspects arriving on two motorcycles. Two of them were wearing helmets, while the other two had masks and caps covering their faces. One man was seen getting off a motorcycle and throwing a bomb toward the school gate before the group fled the scene.

Police arrived shortly after the explosion and inspected the area. The school authorities have filed a general diary (GD) with the local police station.

The administrative officer of Mohammadpur Preparatory School said that classes and examinations are continuing as usual, with additional security measures taken to ensure the safety of students and staff.
