A fierce fire engulfed 14 Volvo buses belonging to London Express Paribahan, which were parked in a garage in Dhaka's Demra on Monday evening, causing extensive damage.

The blaze, which erupted around 8:50 pm, was eventually brought under control by five firefighting units around 9:48 pm.

Warehouse Inspector Anwarul Islam from the Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) headquarters reported the incident.

Firefighting units from Demra Fire Station and Siddique Bazar Fire Station swiftly responded to the scene upon receiving the alert.

Fortunately, there were no reported casualties as a result of the fire. However, the cause of the blaze remains unknown at this time.
