Dhaka, Dec 22 (V7N)- The capital Dhaka woke up on Monday to light to moderate fog and a winter chill, as winter conditions continue to influence the weather. However, there will be no major change in temperature today, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.

In its forecast for Dhaka and adjoining areas for the six hours from 7:00 am, the Met Office said the weather is expected to remain dry throughout the day, with the sky temporarily partly cloudy due to winter effects.

The forecast also mentioned that light to moderate fog may persist during the morning hours, while the sky is likely to clear gradually by noon. Winds may blow from the north or northwest at a speed of 5 to 10 kilometers per hour.

The temperature in Dhaka was recorded at 17°C at 6:00 am, with humidity at 89 percent. The highest temperature yesterday was 24.1°C, while today’s lowest temperature was recorded at 16.9°C.

Meanwhile, sunset in Dhaka today will be at 5:17 pm, and sunrise tomorrow is expected at 6:38 am.
