Rangamati, Sep 28 (V7N) – The Rangamati district administration has extended its advisory, urging tourists to refrain from traveling to Sajek, one of the popular tourist destinations, for an additional three days. The advisory, originally in place from September 25 to September 27, has now been extended from Saturday, September 28, to Monday, September 30.

The decision comes after a directive issued on Friday night, signed by Rangamati's Additional District Magistrate Zobaida Akhtar. The extension follows a decision made by the Rangamati District Law and Order Committee, which initially discouraged tourists from visiting Sajek due to current circumstances.

The district administration clarified that while Sajek has not been officially closed to tourists, visitors are strongly discouraged from traveling to the area during this period for safety reasons.
