Tangail, Oct 27, V7N- A captivating boat tour featuring the Bauliana artist group took place in Ghatail, Tangail, on Friday morning. The tour began around 10 AM at the traditional Gobindasi Ghat on the banks of the Yamuna River, before anchoring at the Sirajganj Hardpoint.
 
After arriving, the participants disembarked, taking a moment to rest before diving into a delightful music session. As the Bauliana artists performed a series of popular songs, the harmonious blend of the river's waves and their melodies created an enchanting atmosphere. The beauty of the surroundings enhanced the joy of the attendees, who reveled in the music and the stunning natural backdrop.
 
Ruhul Amin Khokon, the head of the group and a recognized artist on BTV, kicked off the concert with a lively performance. Other talented artists graced the stage, including BTV performers Lalan Siddiqui and Jhumur Siddiqui from Sakhipur, stage artist Mitu Moni from Madhupur, Asian television artist Noori from Bhuyapur, and Aroshi, a student at Tangail District Shilpakala Academy and daughter of the former mayor of Tangail Municipality. Additionally, expatriate Zakir Khan from Canada and many others showcased their musical talents.
 
The event featured a skilled lineup of instrumentalists: Farhad and Manik Chand on percussion, Shah Jamal on flute, AR Kanchan on guitar, Mamun Khan on pads, and Kamruzzaman Roni on keyboard. The program was conducted by Mokhlesur Rahman, Agriculture Officer Ruhul Amin, and Zakir Khan.
 
This boat tour and music session not only highlighted the rich cultural heritage of the Bauliana artists but also fostered a sense of community among participants, making it a memorable celebration of music and nature.
