Tangail, Mar 26 (V7N) – In a gesture of humanitarian aid, wheelchairs were distributed to disabled individuals in Tangail through a collaborative effort by the Tasin Foundation and Manusher Kalyanye Manush.
"Wheelchairs have been provided to some disabled people for the welfare of humanity in Tangail," a program organizer confirmed.
The distribution event took place on March 25 at the Government Shishu Parivar Girls' School premises.
"The program was organized on March 25 at the premises of the Government Shishu Parivar Girls' School by the joint initiative of Tasin Foundation, a leading voluntary organization for the welfare of humanity, and Manusher Kalyanye Manush," a program coordinator reported.
Parul Mahbub Khan, President of Manusher Kalyanye Manush Sangstha, presided over the event. Md. Yasir Arafat, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Human Resources and Development) of Tangail District Administration, served as the chief guest.

Other notable guests included Md. Touhidul Islam, Deputy Director of Tangail District Social Service Office, City Social Service Officer Md. Shafiqul Islam, and Nafisa Tabassum Khan, General Secretary of Manusher Kalyanye Manush Sangstha.
"Md. Touhidul Islam, Deputy Director of Tangail District Social Service Office, City Social Service Officer Md. Shafiqul Islam, Nafisa Tabassum Khan, General Secretary of Manusher Kalyanye Manush Sangstha and other dignitaries were the special guests," a program document detailed.
Journalist Md. Rashed Khan Menon (Russell), Vice President of Manusher Kalyanye Manush Sangstha, moderated the program.

Disabled individuals from various upazilas of Tangail received the wheelchairs. This initiative marks the latest in a series of similar distributions by the organizations.
"At that time, wheelchairs were provided to some disabled people coming from different upazilas of Tangail. This organization has provided wheelchairs to disabled people in different areas several times in the past," a distribution record indicated.
Parul Mahbub Khan expressed her dedication to serving underprivileged communities and credited her family for inspiring her humanitarian work.

The journey of Manush Kalyan Manush Sangstha started from this love. I get inspiration for every good deed from my family guardian, my father-in-law, poet Bulbul Khan Mahbub, one of the organizers of the Liberation War.
