Panchagarh, Sep 26 (V7N) – Import and export activities at the Banglabandha land port in Panchagarh will remain suspended for nine consecutive days, including weekly holidays, on the occasion of the autumn Durga Puja.

According to the port authorities, inter-trade operations have been closed since Friday (Sept 26) and will continue until October 4. However, the movement of passport-holding passengers through the port will continue as usual.

Banglabandha Land Port Manager Abul Kalam Azad stated that importers, exporters, truck owners, and C&F agents from Fulbari, India have collectively decided to suspend their activities for eight days during the festival.
