Ukhiya, Cox's Bazar in Bangladesh, on Friday (May 17), Police detained 32 Rohingyas during a seminar held in a multi-storied building in Rajapalong Union, Ukhiya, without the necessary permissions from the Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner or local administration. The operation took place around 12 noon on Friday.
 
Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shamim Hossain of Ukhiya police station confirmed the incident to Voice7 News. 
He reported that the detained individuals had gathered at the Global Training Center in Ukhiya, where they were conducting training and seminars via video conference without authorization.
 
During the raid, police seized two laptops, a projector, 32 mobile phones, and various organizational documents from the seminar room. The authorities have taken the detainees into custody for further investigation.
